Classes start March 2012

Brrr, it’s cold out there.  With the freezing morning temperatures, we pause our group fitness classes until the end of winter.  Check back with us in March, when we start back up.

Group Fitness classes are the perfect 45 minutes to get in shape. There are so many advantages to our classes and training with a group. If you’ve ever trained by yourself, you will understand the importance of having camaraderie and instruction during your workouts. Additionally group fitness classes will save you money on our personal training rates. With us you’ll get a great workout, but unlike with some other boot camps, it won’t be something that you dread. As our company motto dictates, we provide smart workouts with a smile.

Tennis Fit

Enjoy a workout program that raises your heart rate to exhilarating levels centered around tennis, racquets, and tennis balls. You don’t even need a background in tennis or even know how to play to enjoy our Tennis Fit group fitness classes. All exercises will be upbeat – some will focus on cardiovascular benefits, others will help strength your legs, abs, arms, or core, while the rest will address the fundamentals of the swing, footwork, and serve. These classes are perfect for those that want to get in shape but struggle to find desire or get bored easily. They’re also a fun way to incorporate tennis into your fitness regime, especially if you can’t find a playing partner. (Classes are located in Keswick Park, MW @ 10:40am or TR @ 8:15am)

Fun Fit

There are so many boot camps and group fitness classes out there that it can be difficult to tell which is the right one for you. We think fitness should be a great experience with positive motivation and thus created this class. We do all the traditional exercises and some creative exercises added each week. We figured out several years ago that the best way to see results from our clients was to instruct, motivate, and push them in a productive manner to help achieve their results. We also realized that we could make the workouts fun by combining games, relays, and obstacle courses. Get fit and burn calories without the grueling and boring workouts that previously defined your exercise routine! (Classes are located in Clairmont Park, MW @ 9:20am or TR @ 7:15am)

Clairmont ParkAt Sunlight Fitness, our trainers understand how to work with a lot of people all at once. Even in our group fitness classes, we will help to personalize parts of your exercise routine and make sure that you are getting the necessary attention for you to reach your goals. Too many bootcamps bark out orders and don’t worry if their class members are unable to do the exercises. We will try to make sure that all exercises will be manageable for novices, yet complex and challenging enough for the more advanced types in our class.

In addition to providing feedback and attention to every member of the class, our group fitness instructor will lead a complete workout experience. We utilize variety to work all the different muscle groups to get your body toned. Like any other group fitness class, we provide a fast-paced rhythm to help you get fit or stay fit, but we also provide you with needed rest and recovery. Other bootcamps like the idea of working you until exhaustion, but that only creates sloppy technique and burnout. We do everything the right way, so that you leave our group fitness classes with a great workout feeling great!
