What type of space do I need any my house?
Most people are surprised to learn that our in-home personal trainers can help you achieve amazing results with very small space. An empty room works best, as it clearly provides the most space for our bodyweight exercises. Finished basements and living rooms also work well, but it might help to move a couch so that we have even more room. Honestly, we can help you have a great workout in your hallway, just make sure it’s not messy!
What equipment do I need?
None. You don’t need any equipment. Our in-home personal trainers in Sandy Springs will bring all the necessary equipment to you, such as medicine balls, dumbbells, and speed ladders. Many of our exercises don’t even require equipment, simply using only your bodyweight. Although we have plenty of creative cardiovascular exercises, with many of our clients running or biking on their own, our Sandy Springs personal trainers can help you to utilize a treadmill or elliptical that you already own. (Purchasing heavy dumbbells might be recommended for advanced clients that are looking to consistently build muscle).
Can we work out in my apartment gym?
Yes! Apartment gyms usually offer a great space for exercise close to your home. Our personal trainers enjoy training clients in these facilities because it helps people stay focused on their fitness goals. Although apartment gyms can get crowded, there are few distractions and good workouts are almost always guaranteed. (Please note, we can not meet at corporate gyms, as most businesses have policies against personal trainers from other businesses).
Can we meet outside?
Yes. We can meet in your backyard or in a local park. A backyard is a great option, as it allows for your house to be a bad weather backup plan. Just make sure that there is an empty space with a safe surface in your backyard. It’s also important that the space be flat. Hills are good for running, but make most bodyweight exercises difficult. Choosing a local park can also be fun, as working outside allows for us to do workouts that aren’t inhibited by space or limitations. A park might be a good option for someone that works in the Sandy Springs area.
